About me
Hi,
I'm Ruben and I'm a tattoo artist.
My taste for drawing started very early, during my academic training I chose to follow visual arts in secondary school, and later I graduated at the Cândido Guerreiro Professional School in Alte, in Technical Drawing in civil construction.
With the lack of opportunities, by the time I finished the course, I graduated in computing where I worked for a few years (linux systems, POS, website). However, my brother, who was already a tattoo artist, in his own studio, encouraged me to go back to drawing and start tattooing, as my love for drawing continued. I chose to pursue studies and entered the University of Algarve, in the Licentiate in Animated Image, despite not having completed it for personal reasons. In 2017, I went back to drawing and decided to go learn to tattoo with my brother. With a lot of dedication and putting into practice everything I learned throughout the various areas in which I worked, I managed to evolve and create future goals.
Right now, I'm at Sotao Tattoo Studio, in Silves. n(former Artink Tattoo Shop).
I started tattooing with coil machines and I continue.
